Who are we?
Boswell is a community health provider team approved by Rhode Island Medicaid. We have spent the past few years working with incredible nonprofits in your community, where we have built trusted relationships to support you with additional challenges you might be facing.
Not only that, Boswell Advocates are your neighbors who just want to help. They’re from your local communities, and have experience similar challenges that you are facing right now.

I was born and raised in Providence RI. I am currently a student at Rhode Island College pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Promotion. My path has been gaining valuable experience during my years in school and achieving opportunities that helped shape my understanding of the health and community system. It has always been a passion of mine to help the members in my community and create a difference through education and resources. I have the honor to say that I have the ability to do that here at BosWell as a Community Health Advocate. I am fulfilling my purpose by helping my neighbors in my community as well as learning from them and giving the integrity to navigate and guide through everyday challenges with solution oriented thinking. I strive to contribute outstanding care and knowledge to those I serve.

Nací y crecí en República Dominicana, después de trabajar en el área finanzas, ahora estoy aquí trabajando en el área de la salud para la comunidad, mientras el momento más difícil de mi vida conocí Boswell para salir adelante y ahora estoy aquí para ayudar a las personas de igual manera como un día lo hicieron hacia mi.
Me gusta pensar que podemos salir adelante juntos y aprovechando los recursos que la comunidad nos brinda para tener una mejor calidad de vida y ser mejores seres humanos para elevar nuestras familias hacia mejor bienestar.
Me siento agradecida por la oportunidad de ser su defensora y llevar una mano de aliento a cada persona que pueda interactuar.

Nací en Pawtucket y crecí en Woonsocket, RI. Mis padres son ambos Puertorriqueños, así que estaba muy inmerso en la cultura, el español era mi primer idioma. Cuando era niño, recuerdo que mi madre tenía que depender de cupones de alimentos, guarderías y despensas de alimentos. Hace unos años mi familia también utilizó algunos de estos servicios. Estoy realmente agradecido de que estos servicios estén disponibles para quienes los necesitan. Trabajé en una organización sin fines de lucro como Educador de Padres durante 3 años y medio. En ese rol ayudé a muchas familias a recibir y encontrar los recursos que necesitaban. Me encanta ayudar a los demás y siempre estoy buscando nuevas formas de retribuir. Algunas cosas interesantes sobre mí: soy esposa de Pastor, soy madre de dos hermosas niñas y ocasionalmente puedes encontrarme cantando o tarareando. En mi tiempo libre ayudó a otros asistentes a la iglesia y les enseño a mis hijas cómo servir a la comunidad.
Estoy muy emocionada de trabajar en Boswell, pero lo más importante es que estoy más emocionada de servirle.
